An Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report is imperative to analysing and assessing the positive and negative impacts that proposed projects and programmes may have on the environment, economy and society.
In many countries, the information to be included in an EIA report is specified in legislation, procedure or guidance. However, in most instances, the sample World Bank’s outline is followed.
This report seeks to provide an outline of the content, layout and processes that were utilised to produce the Environmental Impact Assessment Report for Chad. A general description is provided on what the sections included along with the steps needed to conduct assessments of the various economic and social factors.
