Zain Bhikha from South Africa is now in the 10th year of
recording and performing Nasheeds, working with Yusuf Islam’s
Mountain of Light Productions he has recorded four albums
and continues to perform his soulful and inspiring nasheeds
worldwide.

Sami Yusuf(Appearing

Sami learnt to play several instruments at a very young
age and gradually began to show a keen interest in singing
and composing. Sami is also a devout practising Muslim who
sees songs as a means of promoting the message of Islam
and encouraging the youth to be proud of their religion
and identity.
Native Deen
The eclectic sounds that take note in their American Muslim
upbringing has made the trio known as Native Deen a hit
with people of all ages. Fans describe their music as not
only 'upbeat' but also 'uplifting' in a world where there
is so much negativity.

Imad Rami
Famous ex-Arabic pop singer, Imad Rami has now devoted his
talents to performing heart rendering Islamic nasheeds.
Hailing from Syria, Imad Rami and his group are the world's
number one Arabic nasheed group with a following all over
the world.
Ahmed Ahmed
AHMED AHMED's comedy is derived from a series of stories
based on his Egyptian background and his Muslim faith, dealing
with stereotypes that most Arab and Muslim's face during
these vulnerable times post September 11th. His struggle
to keep and talk about his faith has been proven to provide
good, clean, comedy.

By car from Edinburgh
Take the M8 junction 16 (Aberfoyle/George
Square cut off) as you take this exit you will immediately
see a sign on your left hand side advising you to follow
signs for Concert Square Car Park (formerly
Buchanan Car Park)
By train
The nearest railway station is Queen Street Station
which is a 3 minute walk from the Hall. From the station
turn right onto Buchanan Street, The Hall is at the top
of Buchanan Street.
Central Station is a ten minute walk away.
From Gordon Street go right at the main entrance and make
your way onto Buchanan Street, The Hall is situated at the
very top. A bus service operates from Gordon Street at the
front of the station, to Glasgow Queen Street Station
and Buchanan Street Bus Station. For information on rail

By bus
Buchanan Street Bus Station is directly
across the road from the Killermont Street entrance to the
Concert Hall. Buchanan Street Bus Station is located in
the heart of the city and provides travellers with up to

*CHILDREN ATTENDING THE EVENT
If you wish to attend with a child under 5 you will need
to book seats in the Circle (Under 5s tickets
are £10 in this area). Babies sitting on laps attend
for free. Under 5s will not be permitted
anywhere else in the auditorium. Please speak to the Box
Office when booking child seats. All children must
be accompanied by a paying adult.
HALL ETIQUETTE
Cameras, video equipment and tape recorders are not permitted.
Please ensure that all mobile phones and pagers are switched
off before entering the auditorium. The auditorium is a
no-smoking area. Please do not distribute leaflets without
permission. Latecomers may not be admitted until there is
a suitable break in the performance.
HOW TO GET THERE

(with the Hall circled in red). A convenient way of travelling
to the Hall is by Underground with the nearest stations
being South Kensington (District, Circle and Piccadilly
Lines) and High Street Kensington (District and Circle Lines).
Both stations are around 10 minutes walk from the Hall.

site. Buses 9, 10, 52, 70 and 360 run close to the Hall.

The Royal Albert Hall is located in South Kensington facing
onto Hyde Park and close to Kensington Palace.
PARKING
Strict parking controls are in operation in the vicinity
of the Hall. There is on-street parking on Prince Consort
Road and Exhibition Road. Both operate Pay & Display
from 8.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Saturday. The maximum stay
is 4 hours at £3.00 per hour. The Royal Albert Hall
also offers limited parking from 6.00pm for patrons attending
evening events. Spaces are priced at £7.00 and must
be pre-booked. Eight free parking spaces are available at
the Hall for disabled visitors. Please call the Access Line
on 020 7838 3110 to pre-book a space.
CONGESTION CHARGE
Although the Hall is not located within London's congestion
charge zoneyour route might take you through the zone to
get to the venue. Anyone travelling into the zone by car
between 7am – 6.30pm Monday to Friday must pay the
£5 charge either in advance or on the day of travel.
