Destitute pastoralists in the very dry areas of the selected districts will be restocked and be enabled to take control of their own development needs through sustainable livelihoods including strengthening existing local mechanisms, agriculture, education, health education and income generating activities |

Afghanistan has resulted in the collapse of the health services.
Large scale displacement of people as a result of military conflict
has left many communities far from any health facilities. The
Paghman clinic will provide a much needed service of basic medical
care. |

Women's Bakery Project |

| Approximately 5,600 female
managed and poor households would have secure access to baked
breads for an extended period of 6 months. The breads would
help the households to reduce their expenditure on food and
divert financial resources to improve living standards. |

of the project is to sustain food security in the Paghman district
by promoting sustainable irrigation practices. This would entail
establishing community based organisations to organise and build

of civil war. The destroyed building is a major impediment in
offering the teacher training courses to large number of students. |
