Project Overview

Provision of shelter kits, kitchen sets, jerry cans, hygiene kits and health and hygiene awareness sessions.

Project Background

On June 23 2007, Cyclone Yemyin struck Pakistan and was followed by several days of monsoon rain. The resulting floods affected over 2 million people in the province of Balochistan. Two hundred and thirteen people were killed, vital crops were washed away, government infrastructure destroyed and thousands left homeless.

Project Objectives:

To provide relief to flood victims.

Project Activities:

  • Distributing shelter kits, kitchen sets, jerry cans, hygiene kits.
  • Holding health and hygiene awareness sessions.
