Islamic Relief (IR) has been working in Indonesia since 2000. IR has registered and signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Home affairs. The MOU allows IR to engage and support communities in socio economic development, water and sanitation, education, orphan, disaster preparedness and emergency response. IR mandate covers five Provinces in Indonesia, this include Nangroe Aceh Darusallam ( NAD) West Sumatera , Jawa Barat, Nusa Tengarra Barat and Banten.
