Bosnia Emergency Appeal
Islamic Relief in Bosnia and Herzegovina

In 1992, during the Bosnian War, Islamic Relief became one of the first international organisations to deliver humanitarian aid to the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina, getting vital supplies to the city of Sarajevo, which would remain under siege for almost four years.
Since then we have continued and extended our humanitarian and development projects in the country.

Our work includes:
•    Enabling children and young people to go to school
•    Empowering poor people to earn a decent living
•    Delivering vocational training
•    Sponsoring vulnerable children.

Find out more about our work in Bosnia and Herzegovina in our News section.
