Korotoumou Samake lives in Dinfara in the rural commune of Ouelessebougou, Mali.
IR began working in Dinfara in 2000 with seasonal programmes, providing food and meat packs to the poor and needy. In 2007 we drilled a borehole equipped with hand pumps.
Prior to IR intervention Korotoumou was forced to walk around a mile in order to fetch clean water for her family.
